Best Wii Games

The Alone in the Dark series has been one of the more beloved franchises in recent memory.  With the game making its way over to our favorite console, it could turn out to be one of the best Wii games released in the thriller genre.  The only things that may stand in the way are the cuts that are being made to the title.

The Wii version of Alone in the Dark will have lesser graphics in comparison to the other next-gen consoles, but that's to be expected.  The real stinker is that Central Park will not be an open world like it will be on the HD systems.  Changes aside, I think we're looking at one of the best Wii games for those of us who've had our fill of cuddly characters for a moment.

Babies Party 06/04/2008

Video game developers have had an historical tendency to ignore about half of the world's population.  Girls are left out of the plan, with games catering to the more aggressive natures of teenage (and adult) boys the world over.  Game developer Ubisoft is one of the only houses that has stepped up to the plate and understand that girls just wanna have fun with Babies Party, one of the best Wii games for girls.

Babies Party is part of Ubisoft's Imagine series of games for girls and it's coming to the Wii.  The game has a babysitting concept that will involve "memory games, puzzles, coloring and cutting up activities", according to Ubisoft.  Being able to play as the baby or the sitter sounds like fun that even boys may wanna have, although it's unlikely they'll consider this one of the best Wii games.

MMO for Wii? 05/27/2008

Creative director of EA Mythic, Paul Barnett, in his interview with CVG, told that Nintendo has the best chance of making the first successful console MMO.
Let us not argue on whether it is correct or not, but rather lets give it a second thought.

The question is whether someone will want an MMO on Wii? If you said yes, you also need to ask yourself if you like it to be something that has ties with Nintendo. Maybe you would just like it to be any game? Here’s some food for your thought!

In his latest interview with the New York Times, Shigeru Miyamoto was profiled as well. Apparently, he was not asked questions only regarding Wii Fit.  The article highlights the influence and supposed greatness of Miyamoto. This article also quotes Informer's Andy McNamara and Disney Interactive's Graham Hopper.

Miyamoto also discusses how gardening was the inspiration behind Pikmin and how a scale sprouted the idea of Wii Fit. He accepts the difference in his current designs and what he produced in last five years. He said that previously he used his imagination more where as now he looks the aspects of his life for inspiration. Next year’s highlight may well be – Wii Make Games.

Pitfall 05/20/2008

The retro video game revival is in full swing these days.  New takes on games from older consoles are in development at a number of design studios, but there's nothing right now to top this bad boy.  Activision has announced that Pitfall is coming to the Wii some time in the near future, suggesting that one of the best Atari games may become one of the best Wii games.

This Pitfall game will be a Wii exclusive, so ha-ha to all the Xbox 360 and PS3 owners.  According to Activision, Pitfall: The Lost Expedition will have over 60 levels, but besides that little nugget, little is known about the title at the time.  I'm sure this will get more press as the release date nears.  Possibly one of the best Wii games, or one of the biggest Wii duds?  Fingers crossed.

We've been through this before.  Someone gets online and "leaks" the word that Castlevania's coming to the Wii.  Everyone gets all frothy at the mouth and the hope starts rising like a hot air balloon, which is kinda appropriate considering the stories are false or misinformed, but we still end up getting excited about what could be one of the best Wii games.  Seems like all that's changed this time.

EGM's heard a rumor that Castlevania Judgement will be coming to the Nintendo DS and the Wii.  The evidence this time is that the name has been registered as a trademark, so it looks like this is a project in motion.  I can already see it ranking as one of the best Wii games.  Please, please, please!  I'm itching to use that Wiimote as a whip, cracking vampires right in their sharp-toothed kissers.

Now it’s rocking time for the Europeans! Rising star is releasing Super Swing Golf: Season 2 on June 27th this year. It will be a dream come rue for the game lovers in Europe. This is one of the most heavily played games in the US.

Americans have played many golf games of which, Tecmo was under rated. The new game which rising star is releasing has lot of special effects, sound effects and is truly attractive backgrounds. It will be a wonderful time playing the new game.

Guys we need some very serious responses from you all! We want to evaluate your lovely Nintendo franchises. Hence we would like you all to tell us something. Of the two most beloved series, which series do you like the most? Is it Mario Kart, or Smash Bros?

Do keep posting your regular feedback and also the reasons why you have selected any one of the two series. The bottom line is that we don’t want to know which game do you like but which series do you like. I think it’s pretty clear now for you all. Keep posting your honest replies!

Hey guys, did any of you experience any problems while playing the Mario Kart Wii? I guess some of my friends in Japan have reported it. The Mario Kart Wii is showing the same error called, "dirty laser lens". I do know why they are still not yet been rectified!

Many of my friends stated that the software also didn’t start at all! As per some hypothetical conclusions, Mario Kart should also work properly with your Wii if Brawl works with your Wii. I guess if you are experiencing similar problems, it is better you try using Brawl on your Wii.

Hey guys welcome the new Nintendo Wii controller! It’s just amazing; the cord has good length of 10 feet and is available in white. Actually the Gamecube has been reinvented by Nintendo. Wii controller will suit games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and GameCube.

Nintendo products are quite amazing. I have been waiting for the new versions. They have launched many versions of games, hardware, joysticks etc, this controller is smooth; keys are good and easy is quite simple to handle. The white plastic body with colorful buttons looks great!
