This is a question on everyone's mind as Super Smash Bros Brawl is being released around the world to a hardcore crowd who really believes it is one of the best Wii games ever before even playing it. The question is whether the general crowd will follow suit and buy the game as well.
If we use Japan as an indicator, we can see that there is a good chance that Super Smash Bros Brawl will not only be one of the best Wii Games, but it will take the number one position. When it was released in Japan, lines wrapped around entire city blocks and the game itself was selling for over 300 US dollars on eBay.
Not everyone is a fan of action based fighters, but if we look at the GameCube, it was the only game that kept the console from being a complete failures. You might as well have called it the Super Smash Bros console.
